Steel Strips Wheels in Chandigarh is seeking a seasoned costing and finance professional to lead product costing, cost analysis, and cost control initiatives. You will drive MIS reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and automated MIS dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and related tools.

The role also covers fund raising, credit management, bank reconciliation, and regulatory reporting to lenders. The ideal candidate brings expertise in budgeting, profitability analysis, capital budgeting, and

Qualifications

• Must have budgeting, forecasting, and cost benchmarking experience.
• Strong knowledge of product profitability, contribution, margin, and break-even analysis.
• Experience in monthly MIS, plant MIS, dashboards, and business review reports.
• Proficiency in Excel, Advanced Excel, Power Query, and Power BI for data analysis and MIS automation.
• Ability to develop automated MIS reports, dashboards, and KPI trackers for management decisions.
• Knowledge of credit appraisal, financial statement analysis, Indian banking regulations, SAP, MS Office, and AI Tools.
• Compliance: adhere to sanction terms, covenants, and repayment schedules.
• Capital budgeting: design, review, and evaluate monthly budget plans and forecasting frameworks.

• Bank Reconciliation & Operations: oversee daily bank transactions and cash flows.
• Financial Reporting & Auditing: prepare stock statements, book debts statements, and QIS reports for lenders.

Role & responsibilities

Strong expertise in Product Costing, Cost Analysis, and Cost Control.

• Proficiency in MIS Reporting, Management Reporting, and Business Performance Analysis.
• Hands-on experience in Standard Costing, Actual Costing, Variance Analysis, and Cost Centre Accounting.
• Strong understanding of Material, Labour, Overhead, Conversion Cost, and Manufacturing Cost analysis.
• Ability to analyse Cost Variances, Price Variances, Consumption Variances, and Production Variances and identify improvement areas.

• Fund Raising & Credit Management: Negotiate and arrange term loans, renewal of working capital limits (cash credit, overdraft), and letter of credit (LC) or bank guarantee (BG) facilities.
• Bank Reconciliation & Operations: Oversee daily bank transactions, handle high-value remittances, and manage complex multi-bank cash flows.
• Financial Reporting & Auditing: Prepare stock statements, book debts statements, drawing power (DP) calculations, and quarterly information system (QIS) reports required by lenders.

Preferred candidate profile

• Competency in Budgeting, Forecasting, Business Planning, and Cost Benchmarking.
• Strong knowledge of Product Profitability, Contribution Analysis, Margin Analysis, and Break-Even Analysis.
• Experience in preparing monthly MIS, plant MIS, management dashboards, and business review reports.
• Proficiency in Excel, Advanced Excel, Power Query, and Power BI for data analysis and MIS automation.
• Ability to develop automated MIS reports, dashboards, and KPI trackers for management decision-making.
• Expert knowledge of credit appraisal processes, financial statement analysis, Indian banking regulations, SAP, MS Office and AI Tools.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to sanction terms, covenants, and interest/principal repayment schedules
• Capital Budgeting: Design, review, and evaluate corporate budget plans and forecasting frameworks on monthly basis.
