Aptiv in Chennai invites a seasoned Change Management professional to own ECO/ECR processing, coordinate changes from request to implementation, and support CMII and PLM workflows.

You will lead meetings, prepare agendas, maintain documentation, and ensure adherence to quality standards while safeguarding confidential information.

Required BE/BTech or ME/MTech with 5–8 years of experience; strong MS Office, stakeholder management, and knowledge of PLM systems.

Qualificações

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Engineering Change Request, Change management, EOL Process.
• Hands-on experience in processing, reviewing, coordinating, and tracking ECOs, ECRs, MCOs and ECM workflows.
• Strong knowledge of PLM principles, engineering documentation, configuration management and document control processes.
• Experience with engineering databases, PLM systems and change management tools.
• CMII certification or equivalent is an added advantage.

Your Role:

• Perform an Initial assessment of changes and notify Change Owner if any information is missing.


• Coordinates the change activity from the initial request to approval for implementation.


• Facilitates the weekly Technical / Organizational Review meetings.


• Prepares agendas and meeting summaries.


• Perform a Final assessment of changes and provide the change owner any feedback if information is missing in order to provide final approval.


• Support AS&UX engineers in the CMII process and GES system.


• Participate in the development of new databases/ tools.


• Co-operate with other AS&UX teams.


• Accomplish tasks in accordance to AS&UX and quality standards and schedules.


• Care for good company image.


• Continuously develop professional qualifications.

Your Background: Required: 5 to 8 years of experience in Engineering Change Request, Change management, EOL Process Should be from a B.E/M.E/BTech/MTech Background Hands-on experience in processing, reviewing, coordinating, and tracking ECOs, ECRs, MCO-Manufacturing Change orders and ECM workflows. Good understanding of change management processes, change control methodologies, and product lifecycle management (PLM) principles. Knowledge of engineering documentation, configuration management, and document control processes. Experience working with engineering databases, PLM systems, and change management tools. Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Strong understanding of technical documentation related to mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering products. Knowledge of engineering procedures, standards, and compliance requirements. Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge on NPO (New Product Introduction/Notification Process), ECO (Engineering Change Orders), and ECM (Engineering Change Management) activities will be an added advantage Strong stakeholder management, coordination, team collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Experience in document control, configuration management, engineering change coordination, or related change management roles is preferred. CMII certification or equivalent Change/Configuration Management certification is an added advantage.
