Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC, located at L&T Innovation Campus, Powai, is seeking a seasoned applied mathematician and CFD specialist with 5–10 years of experience to develop, implement, and optimize mathematical models and simulations for defence projects.

The candidate should hold a postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Applied Mechanics (Tier 1 or equivalent) and be capable of translating complex research problems into practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / Applied Mechanics from Tier 1 or equivalent institutions.
• Applied mathematician and CFD specialist with 5–10 years of experience in developing, implementing, and optimizing mathematical models and simulations.
• Skilled in translating complex research problems into practical solutions for defence industries.
• Strong aptitude in design, simulation and troubleshooting activities.
• Strong planning, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Excellent subjective evaluation skills.
