Quality RX, Carmel, Indiana, is seeking a licensed pharmacy technician to join our team on a PRN basis. You will support pharmacists, process prescriptions, and help manage inventory and workflow in a secure, compliant environment.

Key responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, packaging and dispensing under supervision, removing outdated drugs, and participating in in-service education while maintaining professionalism and safety.

Formación

• Indiana licensed pharmacy technician.
• Closed door pharmacy experience required.
• Ability to manage inventory and workflow.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

Position Summary

The pharmacy technician must work with pharmacy staff, Quality Correctional Care staff, and county staff to provide medications to inmates and facilities.

Mandatory Functions

• Comply with all current and future state, federal, and local laws and regulations.
• Comply with court orders, medical department rules and the policies and procedures of Quality Rx.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate therapy, and interactions and communicate
• Assist pharmacist by accurately and efficiently processing, packaging, and dispensing prescriptions
• Remove outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
• Closely manage inventory in a cost-effective manner
• Recommend improved procedures, equipment, and supplies to supervisor.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Present/participate in in-service education sessions.
• Maintain professional attitude at all times.
• Any and all duties as assigned.

Requirements

Pharmacy technician must be licensed in the state of Indiana. Closed door pharmacy experience required.

Position Details

This is a PRN position. Pharmacy Hours are M-F, 8AM-4PM.
