• Position rationale
  • The Certification Manager is responsible for certifications management & operations support of Textile Business Unit of ECOCERT India. This role reports to the Managing Director, ECOCERT India.
• Tasks
  • Certification Management:
    • Maintain BU Tex – ECOCERT India accreditations as critical site with the support of ECOCERT group Textile BU Regional Scheme Manager and Quality Manager.
    • Support accreditation audits & Internal audits as a main responsible person for Ecocert India BU Tex.
    • Follow up of audit results.
    • Collaborate with Textile BU Regional Scheme Manager on the interpretation of the different schemes requirements and evolutions for maintaining a consistent technical approach.
    • Provide textile expertise to the ECOCERT India team – BU Tex.
    • Provide technical expertise on the various standards supported.
  • Operations Support:
    • Provide support to the certification team with tools, procedures, instructions and all necessary documents to provide the service.
    • Follow & monitor the implementation of the BU Textile’s analysis & Additional audit plan in collaboration with the Quality Manager & Textile BU Regional Scheme manager.
    • Coordinate the tasks of the audit & certification teams to ensure harmonization and optimization of our processes.
    • Supervise program service quality and staff training/qualification of the certification team.
    • Coordination of CROs, AOs, and CDOs to harmonize and optimize practices and Auditors in collaboration with the Evaluation Division.
  • Individual Task:
    • Carry out general reviews and make certification decisions.
    • Guarantee the efficiency, quality and reliability of certifications carried out within Ecocert India Scope of the BU.

Profile

• Education: Graduation/Post Graduation in Textile and allied subjects.
• Experience: Minimum 10 year of experience in Testing and Certification industry.
• Technical skills:
  • Good knowledge of Textile Certifications (Mandatory).
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) is mandatory.
  • Other Skills: English (Mandatory), Tamil/Hindi (Preferred).
