Job summary

Tekion, based in Bengaluru, seeks an experienced Product Manager to lead the CDP/CRM data products in a fast-growing, SaaS automotive platform. You will define roadmaps, partner with engineering, data science, sales, and customer success, and translate market needs into concrete requirements.

You will mentor junior PMs, define KPIs, ensure data governance, and drive go-to-market activities with cross-functional teams. Automotive retail and OEM data flows familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SaaS product management, with 3+ years leading CDP, CRM, or data infrastructure products (Automotive SaaS strongly preferred).
• Deep understanding of CDP concepts: identity resolution, data workflows and related tradeoffs.
• Adept at working with data teams (ETL, data lakes, cloud platforms) and communicating technical options clearly.
• Domain knowledge of automotive retail/OEM data flows and dealership management systems is a plus.
• Proven stakeholder management interfacing with customers, sales, and engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the CDP roadmap and vision aligned to company goals.
• Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Customer Success and external partners to ensure delivery.
• Capture Voice of the Customer to inform product decisions.
• Translate market insights into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure Data Governance & Compliance with security and privacy requirements.
• Define KPIs, monitor adoption, and iterate to deliver value.
• Collaborate on Go-to-Market and enablement with Marketing, Sales, and Support.
• Mentor and guide associate/junior product managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• CDP Roadmap & Vision: Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our CDP, aligned to company goals and customer needs.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Customer Success, and external partners to ensure alignment and effective delivery.
• Voice of the Customer: Deeply understand user personas (dealers/OEMs), pain points, data workflows, and market trends to inform product decisions.
• Product Design & Requirements: Translate market/user insights into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure CDP meets security, privacy, and regulatory (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) requirements.
• Performance Measurement: Define KPIs, monitor adoption, and iterate to deliver measurable business and customer value.
• Go-to-Market: Collaborate in launch, enablement, and success of new features with Marketing, Sales, and Support.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide associate/junior product managers.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 7+ years in SaaS product management, with 3+ years leading CDP, CRM, or data infrastructure products (Automotive SaaS strongly preferred).
• Expertise: Deep understanding of CDP concepts: identity resolution, data
• Technical Acumen: Adept at working with data teams (ETL, data lakes, cloud platforms) and understanding technical tradeoffs.
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive retail/OEM data flows, dealership management systems (DMS) is a plus.
• Stakeholder Management: Proven track record interfacing with customers, sales, and engineering teams.
• Communication: Exceptional communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with product-led growth (PLG) models.
• Background in B2B enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Prior experience with scaling data products in regulated industries.
