Job summary

Tekion in Chennai is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design, develop, and deliver analytical solutions that influence business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to unlock insights, build dashboards, and foster data-driven strategies.

The role involves collaborating with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Executive Leadership to create scalable analytics, improve data infrastructure, and communicate findings with strong business context.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Performs data extraction, transformation, and analysis to support business performance monitoring and strategic decision-making.
• Develops dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to communicate data findings effectively.
• Conducts deep-dive analyses to uncover actionable insights, trends, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather data requirements and develop models or frameworks that support forecasting, segmentation, and scenario analysis.
• Ensures data accuracy and integrity by developing and enforcing quality control procedures and validation techniques.
• Partners with engineering and data teams to improve data infrastructure and optimize access to clean, structured datasets.
• Presents findings and recommendations to stakeholders with clear business narratives supported by data.

Summary:

Serve as a strategic partner in leveraging data to drive business insights, optimize performance, and support strategic initiatives across the organization. The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Operations, and Executive Leadership to design, develop, and deliver analytical solutions that influence business decisions.
