Job summary

Jindal Aluminium in Bengaluru is seeking a vigilant Security Surveillance Operator to monitor CCTV feeds at the main gate and ensure safety across facility areas. You will observe live footage, identify suspicious activity, and promptly alert security staff and management.

The role requires strong situational awareness, calmness under pressure, and the ability to work independently as part of a security team. You will maintain incident logs, uphold compliance, and ensure equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor camera screens and observe live footage at the main gate.
• Identify suspicious activity and promptly alert security staff or management.
• Ensure the safety of cleaning, medical, and ward staff, patients and visitors.
• Maintain a log of incidents and forward to Security Officer and Administration Manager.
• Remain alert, calm under pressure, and able to work independently.
• Act discreetly and do not disclose observations to outsiders.
• Be responsible for surveillance monitoring, incident management, and record maintenance.
• Regularly check camera visibility and maintain footage by removing obstacles.
• Inspect surveillance equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Job description

• (a) Continuously monitor camera screens at the main gate and observe live footage from surveillance cameras.
• (b) Monitor for suspicious activity and immediately alert security staff or management in case of theft, molestation, teasing, or any other criminal activity.
• (c) Monitor the safety of cleaning staff, diet center staff, service center staff, patients, and MCH ward / OPD patients.
• (d) Report any anti-social behavior to management.
• (e) Maintain a log of all incidents and forward it to the Security Officer and Administration Manager for prompt action.
• (f) Remain alert and observant at all times and be able to work independently without supervision.
• (g) Act discreetly and never discuss anything observed on the monitor with outsiders.
• (h) Remain calm under pressure.
• (i) Respond quickly to incidents.
• (j) Be computer literate.
• (k) Work effectively as part of a team.
• (l) Possess excellent communication skills.
• (m) Be responsible for surveillance monitoring.
