Job description

CCG Engineering finance team is seeking a Spending Analyst to join this newly formed team. Role responsibilities will include, but not be limited, to the following areas:

1. Analyze financial information to produce forecasts for the business to make informed decisions.
2. Perform budget reviews to different levels of management to improve financial business decisions.
3. Closing the books, analyzing variances and trends against budget.
4. Ensures compliance integrity of external and Internal reporting standards and corporate policies.
5. Support and Maintain Finance data hierarchy structure of the operational group and respective purchasing approval.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of related practical experience in financial roles.
• 2+ years of experience on Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Planning and business modeling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree. Microsoft Excel Macros and Queries.
• Experience with Power BI or any Data visualization or analytics tools.
• Passion and knowledge for Driving process improvements, Automation, and standardization Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
