Job summary

Kairos Technologies in Bengaluru seeks a Casting Design engineer with 6-8 years of casting experience and NX expertise. You will work on product design casting, casting model development, and NPD/NPI initiatives, with emphasis on GD&T and tolerance analysis.

Role requires extensive UG NX knowledge, experience with SAP/ECTR, Windchill or Teamcenter, and strong skills in 3D concept development and 2D drawings. Knowledge of casting manufacturing processes and BOM creation is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years in Casting.
• Experience in Casting design and product design casting.
• NPD/NPI experience is required.
• Electromechanical product design experience preferred.
• UG NX extensive experience.
• Experience with SAP ECTR, Windchill or Teamcenter.
• Proficient in 3D concept development and 2D drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Engineering change management and BOM/drawing standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead casting design activities for new and existing products.
• Develop casting models and contribute to product design.
• Support NPD/NPI projects with casting input from concept to release.
• Apply GD&T and perform tolerance analysis on drawings.
• Manage engineering changes and BOM preparation.
