BRIK OVEN PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a dynamic Captain for Food & Beverage Service to orchestrate guest hospitality and backend logistics. You will welcome guests, handle seating and reservations, and guide them through loyalty programs while ensuring flawless billing and a memorable experience.

In this role, you will coordinate with delivery platforms and manage KDS/KOT workflows, uphold Brik Oven standards, and maintain a clean, safe dining environment.

Qualifications

• Read and write at a beginner level; speak English at an intermediate level.
• Previous experience in restaurant operations or similar roles preferred.
• Presentable appearance and adherence to hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, assist seating, and manage reservations.
• Explain loyalty programs and current promotions to guests.
• Provide detailed overview of loyalty benefits and ensure smooth billing.
• Maintain telephone etiquette and coordinate customer communications.
• Operate KOT and KDS systems for efficient service and delivery.

Job Description

Host

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival and ensure their comfort.
• Be a brand ambassador and ability to talk about brand’s current events and promotions
• Customers should receive a detailed overview of the customer loyalty program.
• To exhibit appropriate telephone etiquette.
• Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently.
• Maintain a record of reservations and walk-in customers.
• Ensure availability of necessary stationery and amenities.

Dine-In Service

• Make orders promptly and accurately as per Brik Oven standards.
• Communicate effectively about menu items and specials.
• Serve meals as per Brik Oven standards and follow up on guest experience.
• Handle billing and facilitate a smooth departure for guests.
• Perform regular cleaning of tables, counters, and operational areas.
• Ensure proper sanitization of equipment and surfaces.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to dining.
• Manage petty cash and denominations effectively.
• Ensure all payment systems are operational and tested before service.
• Settlement to be done as per the customer payment mode.
• Manage kitchen order tickets (KOT) efficiently, ensuring accuracy and service standards.

Coffee

• Coffee making as per Brik Oven recipe
• Adequately steam and pull a short of espresso

Grooming

• Adhere to uniform guidelines and maintain a professional appearance as per Brik Oven standards.
• Ensure personal hygiene and grooming standards are met as per Brik Oven.

Pre and Post-Opening Duties

• Prepare the restaurant for operations before opening.
• Ensure that each individual sections are prepared according to Brik Oven standards to ensure customer readiness.
• Conduct thorough cleaning and setup tasks after closing.
• Follow pre-established checklists for both front and back-of-house areas.
• Monitor and maintain the physical infrastructure of the restaurant.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld.
• Address any maintenance issues promptly.
• Adherence to the coffee station standards.

Delivery Operations

• Coordinate with delivery aggregators for order processing and tracking.
• Manage kitchen display systems (KDS) for efficient order preparation and delivery.
• Coordinate with online food delivery platforms for seamless order processing.
• Ensure proper integration and visibility on customer apps.

Requirements
