Job summary

Accenture seeks a Capital Projects Specialist in Bengaluru to oversee planning, risk assessment, cost management, and scheduling for power generation, transmission and distribution projects. The role requires hands-on experience with Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel-based cost models, and strong project controls expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and define activities, milestones, and dependencies.
• Establish baselines and manage schedule updates and re-baselining processes.
• Monitor project progress, critical path, milestones, and variance analyses.
• Support governance reviews, stage gates, and change control processes.

What would you do?

• To oversee and implement effective project planning, risk assessment, cost management, and scheduling activities for power generation, transmission, anddistribution projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and compliance with utility standards and regulations.

What are we looking for?

• Enough experience in power utility, EPC, transmission & distribution, generation projects.
• Strong exposure to project controls, risk assessment, and costmanagement systems.
• Hands on experience in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel-based cost models.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules IMS using Primavera P6 and or Microsoft Project
• Create Work Breakdown Structures WBS and defineproject activities logic links milestones and dependencies
• Establish project baselines and manage schedule updates revisions and re baselining processes
• Monitor project progress critical path activities and milestone achievement
• Conduct schedule health checks variance analysis delay analysis and recoveryplanning
• Support resource loading forecasting and productivity monitoring
• Prepare weekly monthly and executive project performance reports anddashboards
• Develop and analyse S curves Earned Value Management EVM metrics CPI and SPI
• Coordinate with project managers engineering teamscontractors and stakeholders to obtain schedule inputs and progress updates
• Identify schedule risks constraints and opportunities and recommend mitigationactions
• Support governance reviews stage gate approvals and change control processes
• Maintain project controls documentation planning procedures and planning standards. BE
