Mahindra & Mahindra Limited seeks a capacity planning professional for BIW to build a resilient automotive supply chain. You will drive long-term capacity planning, map capacity across weld lines and press capacity, and partner with suppliers to enable infrastructure for demand fulfilment.

The role covers short-term capacity challenges, ramp-up readiness, and de-risking supply chains with SSU, SCM, and SQE teams. Strong analytical skills and APQP/PPAP knowledge are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required or equivalent.
• MBA is preferred for strategic capacity planning roles.
• Experience in BIW capacity planning and supplier management is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead long-term and short-term capacity planning for BIW parts across weld lines and press capacity.
• Identify and mitigate capacity shortfalls with action plans and supplier infrastructure.
• Monitor risk, drive digitization of capacity planning processes, and ensure ramp-up readiness.
• Collaborate with SSU/SCM/SQE to source alternate suppliers and optimize capex budgets.
• Develop FTG facilities, tooling, and gauges with suppliers to meet demand.

Capacity Planning - BIW Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Build a resilient supply chain for the Automotive Division through Long term Capacity planning and mapping:

• a.Capacity assessment & planning for existing supply chain parts based on 3 years LTP
• -Action Planning for Capacity Shortfall mitigation for BIW Domain (Weld Lines/Press Capacity)
• -Enabling creation of required infrastructure at supplier end to meet demand through partnering with SSU/CDMM/PD/SCM monitoring at suppliers end
• -Ensure kick-off part development with close monitoring till SOP
• b.SSU / SCM / SQE vulnerable supplier alternatives
• c.New projects C/O parts capacity mapping (across Platforms cross commodities)

Drive Short term Capacity Planning & supply chain challenges mitigation

Identification of short-term challenges with Supply chain

Capacity enhancement on current parts

Quality related supplies issues (alternate sourcing / FTG corrections with current suppliers)

Ensure kick-off part development with close monitoring till SOP

Ensure Close Monitoring of high risk projects requiring sharp ramp up to meet business demands Drive capacity augmentation, part availability with supply chain & SSU to ensure ramp-up for BIW Parts (Weld Lines/Press Capacity)

De-risking supply chain

• Identification of risk in supply chain, working along with SSU to identify alternate sources, Creating Capex budgets in line with the same, enabling VOBs & kick off capacity creation for BIW Parts (Weld Lines/Press Capacity)

Digitization

• Drive simplicity & efficiency through Digital Capacity Planning and monitoring (Implementation Capacity Planning tool)
• BIW Parts (Weld Lines/Press Capacity)
