Your impact

The Capability Manager – Lifesciences is expected to have acquired deep understanding of Pharmaceutical line of business by or through execution of large-scale complex projects, working on Technology areas spanning within advances in life sciences industry, understands the regulatory and cGMP framework with deep understanding of USFDA, WHO Guidelines, ISPE Guidelines, Regional Pharmacopeia’s, Pharmaceutical Hygienic Standards, Qualification and Validation Framework.

• The Capability Manager will be responsible for Driving Innovation, Adoption of new and emerging technologies and participating in Business Win Strategies along with building a highly efficient work and accountability culture.
• Will be responsible to mentor / manage/ develop Capability Leads, SMEs, Specialists
• Will be responsible to support Lead Engineers, Project Managers and Discipline Mangers for the Technical governance of the team.
• Will report and collaborate with Manager of Engineering and Manager of Projects to align Strategies and skill development of the Organizational team in overall.

Here’s what you’ll need

Experience - 20 Years +

Technical and Development

• Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferentially Chemical Engineering from a reputed institute.
• Strong experience on design and execution of large pharmaceutical / Life Science /Project.
• Deep understanding of USFDA, WHO Guidelines, ISPE Guidelines, Regional Pharmacopeia’s, Pharmaceutical Hygienic Standards, Qualification and Validation Framework.
• Support Business development team with work efforts estimation and technical scope, highlighting assumptions, exclusions

People and Team

• Fluency in English writing, speech, and comprehension.
• Strong communications Negotiation and Presentation skills.
• Develop working relationships across various disciplines.
• Supports internal learning and development / knowledge sharing/ skill improvement initiatives within Jacobs Organizational Framework.
• Ensure and drive the standardization initiatives within the organizational framework

Client and Industry

• Meet or Exceed client’s expectations and build / maintain long-term relationship with internal / external clients.
• Will help Client and Design/ Project Managers to understand and drive the optimum and regulatory complied facility design
• Adopt Latest technology and prevailing practices to offer value plus ideas and sustainable solutions for the benefit of project.
• Attend to client feedback

Project Delivery and Performance

• A desire to achieve high quality outputs and deliver excellent service.
• Support to achieve “best for project” outcomes.
• Identify and address issues that would impact on desired project outcomes.
• Right First Time in delivery with adoption of zero defect and beyond zero approach.
• To mentor / mange/ develop Capability Leads, SMEs, Specialists and support Lead Engineers, Project Managers and Discipline Mangers for the Technical governance of the team.
