Job summary

Luxoft in Chennai is seeking a Senior Calypso/Java Backend Developer to drive modernization of the Wealth Management Core Banking platform. Work is hybrid in Chennai with 2-3 days on-site weekly to deliver Calypso customizations and critical interfaces around the core capital markets system.

You will bring hands-on Calypso and Java backend experience (5–8 years), strong Unix and Oracle SQL skills, and contribute to DevOps for build/deploy. Immediate joiner preferred; notice period up to 30 days.

Qualifications

• Hands-On Calypso / Java Backend Development for at least 5 to 8 years.
• Experience with Core Java, UNIX and Oracle SQL in backend development.
• Calypso development experience is mandatory for this role.

Responsibilities

In the context of the strategic project to transform the Wealth Management Core Banking platform, the IT team is growing. A Senior developer is required to work on projects requiring Calypso experience. The objective will be to customize Calypso product and to develop several key and critical interfaces around the core capital market banking system.
