Acute Metrology & Consultancy Private Ltd. is seeking a Calibration Engineer/Technician (female candidates only) with a background in Instrumentation engineering. Fresher or experienced ITI/Diploma or Engineering graduates are welcome to apply for this role in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The selected candidate will handle verification, calibration, and documentation of instruments in the laboratory, while coordinating with senior staff and ensuring quality procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI/BE in electronics or instrumentation-related fields.

• Strong background in instrumentation engineering and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Physical verification of instruments brought for calibration.
• Guide Customer Support by informing feasibility of calibration for items.
• Calibrate instruments at the laboratory per laboratory work instructions.
• Record calibration results in observation sheets.
• Prepare Certificate of Calibration after completion.
• Report to Senior Engineer or Technical Manager.
• Prepare/modify work instructions.

We are looking for a highly skilled and Fresher or experienced ITI/Diploma or Engineering Gradutae to join our team at Acute Metrology & Consultancy Private Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Instrumentation engineering and excellent problem-solving skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Physical Verification Of The Instruments That Comes For Calibration.
• To Guide Customer Support Executive By Informing The Feasibility Of Performing Calibration For The Items Given By The Customer.
• To Calibrate The Instruments At Our Laboratory As Per The Work Instructions Maintained By The Laboratory.
• Calibration Results Are To Be Recorded In The Observation Sheets.
• To Prepare Certificate Of Calibration After Completion Of Calibration
• To Report To Senior Engineer Or To The Technical Manager.
• Preparation/Modification Of Work Instructions.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining Lab Accommodation Environmental Condition.
• To Undergo Training As Per The Schedule.
• To Inform The Calibration Due Of The Master Instruments Per The Schedule.
• In The Absence Of Senior Engineer, Calibration Engineer Has To Amend Quality Manual / Quality System Procedure / Formats If Any.
• To Support Customer In The Absence Of Customer Support Executive.

Qualification: Diploma, ITI, B.E. in Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical, or B.Sc. in Physics, B.Sc. in Maths.
