The AES Group in Pune is seeking skilled CAE Engineers with hands-on FEA experience to design and analyze automotive seating systems and components. You will develop 2D/3D meshes, run simulations with HyperMesh and LS-DYNA, and support validation through post-processing and interpretation of results.

This permanent, work-from-office role requires strong technical skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in FEA and finite element modelling.
• Strong HyperMesh and LS-DYNA skills.
• 2D/3D meshing proficiency and pre-processing.
• Experience with automotive seating systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of TS 16949/IATF 16949 quality standards is advantageous.

• Perform FEA for automotive seating systems, sub-systems and components.
• Develop 2D and 3D meshes and create simulation-ready FE models.
• Use HyperMesh for pre-processing and model preparation.
• Run simulations using LS-DYNA and assist post-processing.
• Work with HyperWorks, LS-PrePost, MSC-NASTRAN, and HyperView.
• Analyze results and support design validation and optimization.
• Ensure compliance with automotive seating regulations and OEM requirements.
• Follow TS 16949/IATF 16949 and basic environmental practices.

Job Overview

We are looking for skilled CAE Engineers with hands-on experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), meshing, and simulation using HyperMesh and LS-DYNA. Candidates with experience in automotive seating systems, seat structures, sub-systems, and component-level analysis are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for automotive seating systems, sub-systems, and components.
• Develop 2D and 3D meshes and create simulation‑ready finite element models.
• Use HyperMesh for pre‑processing, meshing, and model preparation.
• Perform simulations using LS‑DYNA and support post‑processing and result interpretation.
• Work with Altair HyperWorks, LS-PrePost, MSC-NASTRAN, and Altair HyperView.
• Analyze simulation results and support design validation and optimization.
• Ensure compliance with applicable automotive seating regulations and OEM requirements.
• Follow relevant quality standards, including TS 16949/IATF 16949, and basic environmental management practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in HyperMesh and LS‑DYNA.
• Practical experience in FEA and finite element modelling.
• Good knowledge of 2D/3D meshing techniques.
• Experience with Altair HyperWorks and LS-PrePost.
• Familiarity with MSC-NASTRAN and Altair HyperView.
• Automotive seating system experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of seating safety regulations and OEM specifications is an advantage.
• Good communication, analytical, and presentation skills.

Mandatory Selection Requirements

• Willingness to relocate to Pune.
• Strong practical knowledge of HyperMesh and LS‑DYNA.
• Candidates must have both HyperMesh and LS‑DYNA installed on their laptops for the mandatory technical tool test.
