Job summary

Tata Technologies in Chennai is hiring for a Powertrain durability CAE engineer with 1-3 years of automotive experience. The role focuses on building and validating CAE models for ICE and EV powertrains, using ANSA, NASTRAN, ABAQUS and META.

You will perform basic analyses (modal, 1G), ensure model quality, debug CAE models, and prepare standard reports while following client methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience in automotive durability CAE domain.
• Minimum 2000 hours work experience in CAE Pre-Post & solver using ANSA/NASTRAN/ABAQUS/META.
• Strong focus on model building (sheet metal, plastic, hex/tet mesh & connections, assemblies, contacts).
• Basic knowledge of BIW/TBIW durability CAE models.
• Good fundamentals in durability concepts, FEA, and physics.

Responsibilities

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelors/master's in mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience in automotive durability CAE domain.
• Should have minimum 2000 Hours work experience in CAE Pre-Post & solver using ANSA/ NASTRAN / ABAQUS/ META is must.
• Strong focus on model building (Sheet metal, plastic, hex/tet mesh & connections, assemblies, contacts).
