Job summary

Assystem in India seeks a CAD Operator – ELV & ICT with 5–10 years of experience to design and support ELV/ICT schemes. The role focuses on detailed AutoCAD-based drawings, modern networked infrastructure layouts, and strict document control across projects in Gurgaon and beyond.

You will develop plans for CCTV, access control, PA, FAS, BMS, and other systems, coordinating with engineers to meet project requirements while ensuring compliance with standards and codes.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI/Technical Certification in Drafting, Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
• 5–10 years of ELV & ICT drafting and design support.
• ITI, 12th or any graduate qualification accepted.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk tools, and GstarCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update ELV & ICT design drawings, layouts, schematics, and detailed shop drawings.
• Develop plans for Structured Cabling, CCTV, Access Control, PA, FAS, BMS, Network, Wi‑Fi, AV, and Security Systems.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to incorporate design changes and project requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control procedures.
• Generate as‑built drawings and support project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, client requirements, and applicable codes.

Job Description

Position: CAD Operator – ELV & ICT

Experience: 5–10 Years

Location: Gurgaon

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update ELV & ICT design drawings, layouts, schematics, and detailed shop drawings.
• Develop plans for Structured Cabling, CCTV, Access Control, PA, FAS, BMS, Network, Wi‑Fi, AV, and Security Systems.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to incorporate design changes and project requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control procedures.
• Generate as‑built drawings and support project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, client requirements, and applicable codes.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk tools, GstarCAD, and other drafting software.
• Excellent understanding of ELV and ICT systems and drawing standards.
• Ability to prepare single-line diagrams, rack layouts, containment layouts, and equipment schedules.
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and clash resolution.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Airports, Hospitals, Commercial Buildings, Data Centers, Malls, Convention Centers, or Infrastructure Projects.
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit and common data environment platforms will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI/Technical Certification in Drafting, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in ELV & ICT drafting and design support.
• ITI, 12TH ANY GRADUATE
