Job summary

WSP India is seeking a CAD Technician specializing in civil engineering with a focus on bridge design and construction. You will create accurate CAD drawings and 3D models to support design and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CAD Technician in civil engineering, preferably bridge design and construction.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve design issues.

• Degree or diploma in civil engineering preferred; relevant work experience considered.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, etc.) and an understanding of 3D modeling techniques.
• Strong technical and mathematical skills, with the ability to accurately interpret and analyze engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, guidelines, and standards related to bridge design and construction (e.g., AASHTO, ACI).
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities to identify and resolve design issues and discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present technical information clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• A degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related field is preferred, but relevant work experience will also be considered.
• Knowledge of GIS software and civil engineering software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) is an advantage.
