Job summary

Eckersley O'Callaghan is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to assist engineers from concept design through contract stages, delivering precise drawings that support project milestones.

You will produce technical drawings with a clear, consistent style, maintain facade and structural detail libraries, and collaborate to share best CAD practices across the team. The role requires meeting deadlines and staying aligned with project programmes.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with our Senior CAD Technician and Engineers to draft details from concept design stage through to contract stage
• Producing technical drawings in a clear and consistent style
• Maintaining a library of facade and structural details
• Collaborating with EOC engineers and technicians to share best practice, coordinate with practice-wide CAD standards and protocols
• Managing issue of drawings to relevant parties on a timely basis.
• Work to the CAD drawing weekly schedule.
• Being responsible for meeting agreed deadlines and managing time to meet programme
• Maintaining an awareness of industry systems
