Job summary

Khatib & Alami Bengaluru is seeking a CAD Operator – Water Resources to prepare accurate 2D/3D drawings for water supply, pipelines, pumping stations and related infrastructure projects. You will work with Civil, Hydraulic, Water Resources and BIM teams to deliver drawings as per project and client standards.

The role requires 4–9 years CAD drafting experience, proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) and familiarity with BIM tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Drafting or related field.
• 4–9 years of relevant CAD drafting experience.
• AutoCAD is mandatory; Civil 3D preferred.
• Knowledge of Revit/Navisworks/BIM is an advantage.
• Good understanding of water supply networks, pipelines, wet utilities and civil infrastructure drawings.
• Experience in Middle East/Gulf projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, profiles, sections, layouts, GA and construction drawings for water infrastructure.
• Develop drawings for water pipelines, chambers, valves, crossings, reservoirs and pumping stations.
• Convert engineering mark-ups and design inputs into accurate CAD drawings.
• Update drawings based on engineering/client comments and maintain revisions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support BIM coordination where required.
• Ensure drawings meet project, CAD and client standards.
• Assist with tender, detailed design, construction and as-built drawings.
