Job summary

Oriconsul India invites a seasoned CAD Operator for a 12-month project office role supporting the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor project. The role focuses on preparing and revising detailed project drawings and designs using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with RDSO standards and contract requirements.

Reporting to project leads at the site and HO, the candidate should have a background in civil/mechanical engineering and be proficient in AutoCAD to deliver accurate drafting and revisions.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or National Trade Certificate in Draughtsman (Civil) from reputed institute (preferable) or 3 years Diploma in AutoCAD from ITI or equivalent reputed institute.
• Preferably a reputed institute. Minimum 6 years of total experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and modify project drawings & designs.
• Working experience in Drawing & Design cell and reviewing the contract drawings before execution of work.
• Develop civil drawings (Yard plans, Geological plans, FOB, ROB etc.) as per RDSO standard drawings for Railway Projects.
• Drafting of all Railway drawings like yard plan, L- Xing gates, Bridges etc. by AutoCAD.

Project Name: Project Management Consultancy Services (PMC) for Construction of Double line electrified Railway Track with signalling and telecommunication system and related infrastructure for the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor Project.

Functional Area:CAD Operator

Duration: 12 months

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or National Trade Certificate in Draughtsman (Civil) from reputed Institute (preferable) or 3 years Diploma in AutoCAD from ITI or equivalent reputed institute.

Overall Professional Experience: The Candidate Shall have minimum 6 years’ of total experience in related field.

Preferred Age: Below 40 years.
