Job summary

Buro Happold in Bengaluru, India is seeking a skilled CAD Modeller to join our Transport & Mobility team on complex infrastructure projects. You will oversee design and drafting, ensure code compliance, and collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality drawings.

With 6–12 years in CAD drafting, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil3D and BIM, you will drive spatial planning, master plans and parking studies while coordinating with Middle East stakeholders and local teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s in civil engineering or CAD draughtsmanship.
• 6–12 years’ CAD drafting experience focusing on transport planning, parking design, traffic and highway engineering.
• Experience with BIM software preferred.
• Knowledge of international transport planning standards and road design procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil3D, Autoturn and other CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Fluent English communication; both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transport and mobility design and drafting for the team in the Middle East, ensuring technical excellence and commercial success.
• Deliver expertise in transport planning and road design, including master plans, development planning and parking studies.
• Provide design input to ensure all designs meet code requirements and optimise spatial planning.
• Ensure design and drawing production is of the highest quality.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CAD technician to join our prestigious Transport & Mobility team in Bangalore, India, to work on some of the world’s best and most complex projects.

• Oversee transport and mobility design and drafting for the team in the Middle East, ensuring technical excellence and commercial success, while managing team interactions.

Your Skills And Experience

• A diploma or bachelor's or equivalent degree in civil engineering or CAD draughtsmanship.
• Minimum of 6-12 years of experience in CAD drafting, focusing on transport planning, parking design, traffic engineering and highway engineering.
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling) software is preferred.
• Knowledge of International Transport Planning and Road Design standards and procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil3D,autoturn, and other CAD software.
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Communicate in English effectively, both written and spoken.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.
