Job summary

Alten India is seeking a CAD Engineer to join our team to assist with CAD data update work for industrial valves. The role requires a BE degree and 1-4 years of experience, with hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor and SolidWorks.

You will create and update 3D assemblies, convert legacy drawings to standard templates, document procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet delivery and quality goals.

Qualifications

• BE degree with 1-4 years of relevant CAD experience
• Strong knowledge of CAD tools AutoCAD, Inventor and SolidWorks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• To create and update 3D assemblies, part drawings, drafting in AutoCAD, Inventor and SolidWorks software for Industrial valves

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Skills required

• Expert in creating, reviewing 3D and updating part & assembly models in CAD software AutoCAD, Inventor and SolidWorks.
• Strong Knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks)
• Proficient in converting legacy drawing to standard template 2D drawings and 3D models in CAD software - AutoCAD, Inventor and SolidWorks.
• Self-motivated
• Good verbal and written communication
• Basic knowledge on PLM tools

Educational background and Experience

• Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent
• 1-4 years of relevant experience
