Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking a talented CAD Application Developer to create custom Revit and AutoCAD solutions that automate layouts and BIM workflows. You will connect Autodesk tools with external databases to enable dynamic data exchange and smarter design decisions.

The role involves building robust data-driven apps, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. Proficiency in C#, Python, or VB.NET is required, with BIM standards knowledge a plus.

We are looking for a talented and driven Revit / AutoCAD or any CAD Application Developer.

This role involves developing custom applications within Revit and AutoCAD to support advanced layout automation and BIM workflows.

The ideal candidate will also have experience integrating these applications with external databases to enable dynamic data exchange and enhanced design intelligence.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Design and develop custom applications within Revit /AutoCAD or any CAD.
• Build tools that automate layout planning and support digital twin initiatives.
• Integrate Autodesk applications with external databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle) for real-time data connectivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide technical support and maintain documentation for all developed applications.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience developing custom apps in Revit /AutoCAD or any CAD using Autodesk APIs.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or VB.NET.
• Experience with database integration and data-driven application development.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, metadata management, and Revit family creation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, Factory Design Utilities, Navisworks, and Point Layout.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data services and API development.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
