Job summary

Jaytech in Pune district, India, seeks a CAD Automation Engineer to standardize and automate 3D mechanical models and CAD workflows. You will bridge traditional design with automation by programming iLogic rules, managing configurators, and delivering optimized manufacturing packages.

Responsibilities include developing iLogic VB.NET scripts in Autodesk Inventor, creating parameter-driven templates, and migrating data into ERP systems. Strong mechanical background with HVAC design is preferred.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical/HVAC design.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor and iLogic preferred.

• Automate accurate BOM extraction and data migration to ERP systems.
• Provide technical support and document standardization protocols for automated workflows.

Job Title: CAD Automation Engineer

The CAD Automation Engineer will contribute to the standardization, and automation of 3D mechanical models and CAD workflows. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional mechanical design and advanced design automation by programming tailored iLogic rules, managing product configurators, and delivering optimized manufacturing packages

Key Responsibilities

• Design Automation & iLogic Development
• Create high-fidelity 3D models and robust 2D technical drawings for manufacturing, including parts, large assemblies, and general arrangements.
• Program and deploy complex iLogic rules and VB.NET scripts within Autodesk Inventor to automate repetitive design processes, features, and assembly generation.
• Build and maintain intelligent CAD masters, parameter-driven templates, and full product configurators (Configure-to-Order / Engineer-to-Order workflows).
• Develop customized user interfaces (Forms) within Inventor to streamline user input and rule execution for the wider engineering team
• Automate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) extraction and streamline data migration paths into corporate ERP systems.
• Provide technical support and document standardization protocols for automated modelling workflows
