Job summary

Sunbrilo Technology is seeking a CAD Automation Engineer to help standardize and automate 3D mechanical models and CAD workflows. You will bridge traditional mechanical design with advanced design automation by programming iLogic rules and managing product configurators.

You will build robust VB.NET scripts within Autodesk Inventor to automate repetitive design tasks, generate accurate BOMs, and enable Configure-to-Order / Engineer-to-Order workflows for manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical/HVAC design with automation exposure.
• Experience in design automation and manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design Automation & iLogic Development.
• Create high-fidelity 3D models and robust 2D drawings for manufacturing.
• Program and deploy iLogic rules and VB.NET scripts within Autodesk Inventor to automate design processes.
• Build and maintain intelligent CAD masters, parameter-driven templates, and product configurators.
• Develop customized user interfaces within Inventor to streamline input and rule execution.
• Automate BOM extraction and data migration into ERP systems.
• Provide technical support and document standardization for automated workflows.

Job Title: CAD Automation Engineer

The CAD Automation Engineer will contribute to the standardization, and automation of 3D mechanical models and CAD workflows. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional mechanical design and advanced design automation by programming tailored iLogic rules, managing product configurators, and delivering optimized manufacturing packages

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Automation & iLogic Development
• Create high-fidelity 3D models and robust 2D technical drawings for manufacturing, including parts, large assemblies, and general arrangements.
• Program and deploy complex iLogic rules and VB.NET scripts within Autodesk Inventor to automate repetitive design processes, features, and assembly generation.
• Build and maintain intelligent CAD masters, parameter-driven templates, and full product configurators (Configure-to-Order / Engineer-to-Order workflows).
• Develop customized user interfaces (Forms) within Inventor to streamline user input and rule execution for the wider engineering team
• Automate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) extraction and streamline data migration paths into corporate ERP systems.
• Provide technical support and document standardization protocols for automated modelling workflows
