Job summary

Bilimoria Mehta & Co. in Mumbai seeks a Qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Audit & Assurance team in Andheri. The ideal candidate has 0-2 years of post-qualification experience and strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills to handle multiple assignments.

You will execute statutory audits, assist with IPO and capital market work, and contribute to Ind AS implementation and audit automation initiatives, working closely with clients and engagement teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 0-2 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in statutory audits of listed companies and large private organisations.
• Exposure to IPO audits and capital markets work is a plus.
• Familiarity with Ind AS (IFRS equivalents) preferred.

Responsibilities

Preferred Candidate:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0-2 years of post-qualification experience to join our Audit & Assurance team in Andheri, Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

1. Execute statutory audits, including audits of listed companies and large private organisations.
2. Assist with IPO audits, capital market assignments, and related reporting requirements.
3. Participate in Ind AS implementation and transition projects, with working knowledge of Ind AS 115 and Ind AS 116.
4. Support risk advisory and internal audit engagements.
5. Work on statutory audits of banks and NBFCs.
6. Coordinate with clients and engagement teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assignments.
7. Prepare and review audit documentation and deliverables.
8. Contribute to the development and use of audit automation and AI-enabled tools.
9. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
10. Knowledge of SEBI LODR and CARO requirements will be preferred.Role & responsibilities
