Job summary

Freight Tiger invites applications for a CA Industrial Trainee to join our Finance team in Mumbai. You will engage in accounting, book closure, GST compliance, and financial reporting while collaborating with leaders on budgeting and performance analysis.

This role provides hands-on experience with Ind AS, tax processes, and dashboards, under guidance from senior finance professionals in a Tata-backed, fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA or CA-Industrial Trainee and strong basics in accounting.
• Knowledge of GST compliance and Ind AS framework preferred.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Accounting and book closure activities.
• Prepare GST returns and GST reconciliations.

Join our Finance team as a CA Industrial Trainee and gain a front-row seat to how a Tata-backed, fast-scaling company plans, reports, and grows from 10x to 100x. You'll work directly with finance leaders and business heads on real strategic problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Book Closure
• Assist in monthly and year-end book closure activities.
• Perform ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations.
• Support fixed asset accounting and depreciation workings.
• Direct & Indirect Taxation
• Assist in preparation of of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C).
• Support GST reconciliations between books and GSTR-2B/GSTR-1.
• Assist in preparation of TDS returns and related reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting
• Support preparation of financial statements in accordance with Ind AS.
• Assist in preparation of audit schedules and notes to accounts.
• Business Finance
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Perform variance analysis between budget and actuals.
• Support preparation of business performance dashboards and financial analysis.
