Job summary

Iris Software is seeking a Senior C++ developer to join our high-performance team in India. You will work on challenging projects using C++ with a strong emphasis on STL, templates, memory management, and low-level threading within real-time contexts.

• 7+ years of proven experience as a Senior C++ developer on challenging projects.
• Strong proficiency in C++ with knowledge of language specification.
• Thorough knowledge of STL, containers and algorithms.
• Good understanding of memory management in non-GC environments.
• Knowledge of templates in C++.
• Experience with low-level threading primitives and RT environments.
• Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Proficiency with Unix systems.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; finance domain experience preferred.

• 7+ years of proven experience as a SeniorC++ developer, working on challenging projects
• Strong proficiency in C++ with fair knowledge of the language specification.
• Thorough knowledge of the standard librarySTL, containers and algorithm.
• Good understanding ofmemory managementin non-garbage collected environments.
• Good knowledge ontemplatesin C++.
• Knowledge onlow level threading primitivesand real time environment.
• Implementation of automatedtesting platformsand unit tests.
• Good knowledge ofUnixsystems
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
• Familiarity with scrum principles and sprint goals aligned to industry best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good domain experience in Financial services/capital markets/investment banking preferred
