Job summary

Zensar Technologies is seeking a Windows System Administrator - IT to join our team in Guadalajara or Chennai. You will help evolve Windows desktop services, automate deployments, and enforce security/compliance across Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS and Android.

You’ll work with Intune, Workspace ONE UEM, Azure AD, and MDM/UEM platforms while collaborating with global teams to ensure a high-quality end-user experience.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add Windows System Administrator - IT located in Guadalajara or Chennai.

Reporting to the Manager & the role involves

Being part of a Corporate Team, the role involves a contribution to the evolution of Windows desktop services. Will be part of the team in charge of generating automations for applications deployment, implementing Windows settings and configuration along with performing Windows troubleshooting, including Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms, securing and supporting corporate-owned and BYOD devices, enforcing compliance policies, and delivering high-quality end-user experience across multiple OS like MS Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS and Android devices.

Responsibilities

What a typical day looks like:

• Analyzing requirements for new requests.
  • Responding to requests for managed solutions and systems.
  • Creating functional and technical specifications to guide current and future developments.
  • Staying in regular contact with the project managers and colleagues (on-site and remotely).
  • Working together and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Prioritizing tasks and independently working on problems.
  • Any Bachelor / master’s degree with Min 5 - 8 Years of experience in IT.
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell)for automating administrative tasks (or) Any of VBS, CMD or Python.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows components (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP)
  • Understanding of Windows operating system and architecture (Windows 10 onwards / Knowledge of Windows Server).
  • IT experience, with hands-on background in enterprise MDM/UEM administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune or Workspace ONE UEM (Omnissa) - device compliance, configuration profiles, app deployment, conditional launch, workflow automation and reporting.
  • Preferably experience of iOS, iPadOS, Android, and macOS device management, including Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Conditional Access and MS Intune App protection polices; exposure to Okta is a plus.
  • Familiarity with certificate-based authentication, PKI, SCEP/PKCS connectors, and Wi Fi/VPN profile deployment.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability across enrollment, application deployment, email configuration, and endpoint agents.
  • Preferably knowledge of Mobile threat defense (MTD).
  • Strong troubleshooting ability with extensive hands-on IT support experience, both back-end, and user-facing.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to provide regular status updates and meet firm deadlines.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferably experience with ITIL process concepts.
  • Preferably knowledge in virtualization solutions like Citrix DaaS and/or VMWare horizon.
  • Preferably basic knowledge in SQL, MDT, WDS, WSUS, SCCM, or others)
