About this position:
At Xroiant, we are expanding our C++ Build team in collaboration with one of our esteemed clients in the Build Systems. We are looking for passionate C++ Engineers with 38 years of experience to join our dynamic team.Your hands-on experience with build systems (Make/Bazel) will streamline development and deployment.

- Mastery of C/C++ and build tools (Make/Bazel) empowers you to develop high-performance systems efficiently while optimizing development workflows.
- Experience with large-scale codebases prepares you to navigate complexity, enhance maintainability, and collaborate seamlessly in enterprise environments.
- Debugging and performance tuning skills enable you to resolve critical issues, optimize resource usage, and deliver robust, scalable solutions.
- Cross-platform and system-level expertise broadens your versatility, allowing you to contribute to embedded systems, OS development, and beyond.
- Proficiency in modern tools (Git, CI/CD) and best practices ensures you stay ahead in collaborative, industry-standard development environments.
Key skills you will require:
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Make for build automation.
- Familiarity with Bazel is a plus.
- Experience working with large-scale codebases is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of debugging and performance optimization in C/C++.
- Understanding of cross-platform development and portability concerns.
- Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git) in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Prior work on embedded systems or low-level programming is a bonus.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with build systems beyond Make (e.g., CMake, Ninja).
- Knowledge of software development best practices (testing, CI/CD).
- Background in system-level programming (Linux/Windows internals).
- Familiarity with static and dynamic code analysis tools

- Bachelors or Master’s with Computer Science or related field
