Senior Software Architect – HR Technology
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Software Architect to join our HR Technology group. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing cutting‑edge technology solutions that support the organization’s Human Resources (HR) functions globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture – Design and implement scalable, secure, and high‑performing architecture for HR systems using AWS infrastructure and SaaS platforms.
- Develop technical roadmaps and strategies that align with business objectives and HR requirements.
- Ensure solutions adhere to global HR standards, including data privacy, security, and compliance.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system capabilities and performance.
- Custom Application Development – Oversee the development of custom applications using Python, C#, Terraform, and AWS services; define best practices for cloud‑native development and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to deliver high‑quality, maintainable software solutions tailored to HR needs.
- SaaS Platform Integration – Lead the implementation and integration of SaaS platforms such as Workday, Dayforce, ServiceNow HRSD, and Snowflake; design robust integrations using APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
- Ensure seamless data flow, interoperability, and adherence to global data privacy regulations.
- Vision and Strategic Planning – Define the long‑term vision for HR technology solutions, develop and maintain a multi‑year roadmap, and balance innovation, scalability, and business priorities.
- Partner with HR leadership to align technology initiatives with workforce strategies and organizational objectives.
- Team Building and Leadership – Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing development team; foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Encourage professional growth, promote open communication, and align stakeholders and business partners.
- Global HR Expertise – Stay informed about global HR trends, regulations, and best practices; collaborate with international teams to address region‑specific HR requirements; implement security best practices to protect sensitive employee data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software development and architecture experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven experience in HR systems, including designing solutions for HR workflows and processes.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS infrastructure and SaaS platform integration.
- Required knowledge of Workday and/or Dayforce and ServiceNow HRSD.
- Technical proficiency in Python and C#.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HR SaaS platforms such as Workday, Dayforce, ServiceNow HRSD.
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working in a global organization with multinational teams.
