Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business/Management, or related field.

• Experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law.
• Experience communicating to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
• Experience working with APAC regional teams.

The HR Partner role in our Builder Experience Team (BeXT) focuses on the Builder experience. You will be working with business teams and other cross‑functional HR teams in driving and deploying strategies. Key job responsibilities

• Consult, coach, develop, and support leadership through decision making with empathy and sound judgement; collaborating and actioning on talent management processes, people development and performance management, compensation, and Employee Relations issues.
• Foster and role model an environment of inclusion for all Builders.
• Advocate for Builders’ needs through end‑to‑end experiences that help Builders feel fully engaged in the work they do and valued for who they are.
• Equitably exercise high‑judgement, manage through ambiguity and serve as first point of escalation for Builder concerns.
• Support Builder queries and situations with discretion and expertise navigating Amazon Policies and applying high judgement as necessary.
• Actively promote adoption of technology and self‑service.
• Collaborate and influence multiple levels of the organization ranging from Builders to senior leaders.
• Conduct difficult workplace investigations in collaboration with Builder Relations.
• Coach HR new hires, mentor HR professionals, engaged in global projects and contribute to regional programs.

About the team

BeXT delivers personalized people‑support to AWS Builders to amplify the voice of the Builder. In this role, you will collaborate with AWS business leaders and line HR teams to innovate, implement, and deploy HR strategies from customer service, talent and performance management, compensation, employee relations and other HR functions. In addition, you will provide support to our Builders and their leaders aligned to AWS flywheel(s) or region(s) calling on HR expertise and empathy.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field
• 5+ years of human resources, or 5+ years of human resource generalist experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience consulting with senior leadership and executives in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law
• Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
• Experience working with and protecting confidential and sensitive HR information
• Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time
• Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field, or 5+ years of human resources experience and High school or equivalent
• Experience working with teams across APAC region
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Intellectual curiosity; brings insight and fresh thinking to the team and business
• Demonstrated empathy in navigating complex people situations
