Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to support our logistics and warehousing procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of SAP S/4HANA, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders. This role is critical in ensuring cost-effective and efficient procurement of transportation services and warehouse space.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Operations: Assist in sourcing and procuring transportation services and warehouse rental agreements.
• Support the end-to-end procurement process, from RFQs to contract finalization.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams including logistics, warehouse operations, finance, and legal.
• Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Participate in negotiations for freight rates, warehouse leases, and service contracts.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Create and manage purchase orders, vendor master data, and procurement reports in SAP S/4HANA.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with procurement policies.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, agreements, and supplier communications.

Qualifications
