Job summary

Head Hunters in India seeks a Buyer Casting Commodity to manage casting and machining suppliers, identify new partners, and steer development projects for the same commodity. The role includes RFQ, quotation and cost analysis for Indian suppliers along with deployment of PH tools at supplier sites.

Candidate will monitor QCD with suppliers, ensure adherence to policies, collaborate with Logistics and Quality teams to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets, and drive LTAs and year-on-year cost

Responsibilities

• Manage the current panel of casting and Machining suppliers.
• Identify and develop new potential supplier for the same commodity.
• Manage the project planning for the new development parts in the same commodity.
• RFQ, Quotation and Cost analysis for the Indian suppliers.
• Deploy the PH tools at the supplier end regarding Sourcing P11 Actions.
• QCD Performance monitoring with the suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with and effective implementation of urcharing Policies and Procedures.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers in India in alignment with sourcing strategy and purchasing policies.
• Collaborate closely with Logistics, Quality, and Cross-Functional Teams within us to achieve target quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Ensure adherence to P11 standards and other applicable Group requirements.
• Conduct regular Saphire reviews and performance assessments with commodity suppliers.
• Lead commercial negotiations and drive year-on-year productivity and cost reduction initiatives with suppliers.
• Develop and implement Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) with key suppliers to support sustainable improvements in quality, delivery, and capacity.
• Execute sourcing actions and initiatives in alignment with annual objectives and sourcing roadmaps.
• Support new product development, APQP, PPAP, and industrialization activities with suppliers. Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management to support business objectives
