Job summary

ABB, Nashik, India is seeking a Procurement professional to purchase materials per specifications, prices, and delivery schedules, while aligning with corporate policies and evaluating supplier performance. You will identify new suppliers and collaborate with the category team.

Responsibilities include PO initiation, supplier delivery confirmation, and bid analysis to ensure optimal value. 3–6 years in procurement with SAP-MM knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in procurement and vendor management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical commodities.
• Experience with inventory management and supplier coordination.
• Familiarity with SAP-MM module is an added advantage.

• Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
• Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.
• Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.
• Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.
