Job summary

Hevo is a no-code data pipeline platform empowering teams to automate data workflows and analytics. The Business Systems Engineer role involves translating business problems into reliable software solutions, building internal tools, and integrating AI-enabled approaches to accelerate development.

You will work across Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Customer Success to design automation, create workflows, and decide when to build custom software versus leveraging existing tools.

Qualifications

• Experience building internal tools and systems for cross-functional teams.
• Ability to turn loosely defined problems into working software solutions.
• Familiarity with AI-native development approaches and coding agents.

Business Systems Engineers build internal tools and systems that help teams work better.

They work across functions such as Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Customer Success, Finance, and the Founders' Office. The role involves understanding a business problem, deciding the right technical approach, building the solution, and owning it after launch.

The solution could be custom software, an integration, an automation, a data workflow, or an AI-powered tool.
