Job summary

Kumaran Systems is seeking a 4–6 year Business/System Analyst to join our Agile teams, focusing on requirements engineering, workflow design, and test-ready user stories. You will facilitate workshops, define acceptance criteria, and maintain traceability across BRD/FRD and backlog items.

You will work on data integration, BPMN/UML process modeling, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables in an AI-enabled transformation context.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years as a Business/System Analyst in Agile environments.
• Experience with project setup, workflows, schemes, and permissions.
• Proficient in test management and traceability (Zephyr/Xray).
• Strong requirements engineering: user stories, use cases, BRD/FRD; prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate workshops, demos, and backlog grooming.
• Define acceptance criteria and ensure story/test traceability.
• Model business processes (BPMN/UML) and create wireframes where needed.
• Manage data mappings, API basics (REST/JSON) and validation.

Job Description

• 4–6 years as a Business/System Analyst in Agile environments
  
• Project/board setup, workflows, schemes, custom fields, and permissions
  
• Test management via Zephyr/Xray (test cases, cycles, executions, traceability)
  
• Defining clear acceptance criteria and ensuring story/test traceability
  
• Requirements engineering: user stories, use cases, BRD/FRD; prioritization (MoSCoW/WSJF).
  
• Process modeling: BPMN/UML, swimlanes, sequence and activity diagrams; wireframes (nice-to-have).
  
• Data and integration:
  • SQL for validation; API basics (REST/JSON), Postman/Swagger; data mapping.
    
• Communication and facilitation: workshops, demos, backlog grooming, stakeholder management.
  
• Analytical/problem-solving mindset; attention to detail and outcome orientation.
