Growth For Impact is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Lead for Chennai, India. You will provide safety support across all projects, ensuring compliance with internal standards and local regulations, and lead risk assessments.

You will conduct safety review meetings at project initiation, perform site inspections, generate reports, and coordinate with project and operations managers to maintain a safe workplace. Mentoring teammates completes the role.

Formación

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction safety.
• Hold a safety license with a proven track record of delivering safety trainings.
• Proficiency in project safety systems, processes, tools, and best practices.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to identify risks and develop mitigation measures aligned with business needs.
• Strong team‑building and relationship‑management abilities.

• Obtain and maintain relevant professional safety licenses.
• Identify and devise measures to meet stakeholders’ business needs and requirements.
• Communicate effectively, build team relationships, and interact with business partners.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction safety.
• Hold a safety license with a proven track record of delivering safety trainings.
• Proficiency in project safety systems, processes, tools, and best practices.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to identify risks and develop mitigation measures aligned with business needs.
• Strong team‑building and relationship‑management abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site in Chennai, TamilNadu, with a 48‑hour weekly schedule.
