Agile Technology Solutions - Your Technology Partner is looking for a Subject Matter Expert in Supply Chain Finance and Trade Finance to validate BRD requirements and guide functional design decisions. Role Summary

Subject matter expert for Supply Chain Finance and Trade Finance products. Provides deep domain knowledge to validate BRD requirements, guide functional design decisions, and ensure the platform correctly implements banking-grade SCF business logic across all 21 functional domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate BRD requirements against industry SCF standards and equivalent trade finance platform product knowledge
• Support BRD alignment workshops and traceability matrix sign-off during Discovery
• Advance development squads on correct business logic for: program governance, eligibility rules, pricing models, funding/repayment lifecycle, limits/exposure, compliance controls, and accounting events
• Review functional designs and user stories for business accuracy particularly the 10 mandatory STP control gates
• Support UAT preparation: define business test scenarios, review test cases, and validate acceptance criteria
• Provide domain input for reporting requirements, operational dashboards, and audit evidence packs
• Act as escalation point for business logic queries from BAs and developers during Build phase

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years in banking/financial services with deep expertise in Supply Chain Finance, Trade Finance, or Transaction Banking
• Hands‑on experience with Payables Finance, Reverse Factoring, Dynamic Discounting, or Receivables Finance products
• Strong understanding of SCF operating model: program setup, buyer/supplier onboarding, KYC/AML, funding, repayment, reconciliation, and accounting
• Hands‑on experience with a recognised bank‑grade SCF or trade finance platform as a business user, product owner, or implementation specialist
• Experience supporting BRD validation, UAT, and product acceptance in banking technology programmes
• Excellent communication skills able to translate complex business requirements to engineering teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with API gateway integration patterns used in trade finance ecosystems (booking engine APIs, payment hub APIs, GL feed APIs)
• Experience with multi‑jurisdiction SCF programmes (UK, MENA, APAC)
• Understanding of SWIFT, payment rails, and ERP integration (SAP, Oracle) in SCF context
