Job summary

Coforge is seeking an experienced IBM BPM/BAW Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise platforms across development, UAT, and production environments.

The role focuses on O&M, patching, upgrades, and high-availability operations, with strong emphasis on incident management, DR, and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IBM BPM/BAW Administration experience.
• Hands-on installation, configuration, patching and upgrades of IBM BPM/BAW.

Responsibilities

• Provide 247 Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support for IBM BPM/BAW platforms.
• Administer, monitor, and maintain IBM BPM/BAW environments across Development, UAT, and Production.
• Perform patching, upgrades, deployments, and environment configuration.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform availability and performance.
• Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and incident/problem management.
• Coordinate with IBM/OEM teams for PMRs, support tickets, and issue resolution.
• Manage Disaster Recovery (DR) operations, including DR drills and failover between DC and DR sites.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, security policies, and operational procedures.
• Prepare operational reports, technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical support to project and operations teams.

Job description

Position: IBM BPM/BAW Administrator
Experience: 7+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 247 Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support for IBM BPM/BAW platforms.
• Administer, monitor, and maintain IBM BPM/BAW environments across Development, UAT, and Production.
• Perform patching, upgrades, deployments, and environment configuration activities.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform availability and performance.
• Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and incident/problem management.
• Coordinate with IBM/OEM teams for PMRs, support tickets, and issue resolution.
• Manage Disaster Recovery (DR) operations, including DR drills, failover, and switchover activities between DC and DR sites.
• Ensure compliance with defined SLAs, security policies, and operational procedures.
• Prepare operational reports, technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical support to project and operations teams.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in IBM BPM / IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) Administration.
• Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of IBM BPM/BAW.
• Strong knowledge of WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
• Experience in DC-DR management, backup/recovery, and high-availability setups.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and performance tuning skills.
• Good documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred:

• ITIL Certification.
• Experience working in large enterprise or government environments.
• Exposure to monitoring tools and automation scripting.
