Manager - Business Intelligence (Technical)

8+ Years of Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, and Enterprise Reporting Solutions

Location: Work From Office (5 Days a Week)

Shift Timing: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Manager - Business Intelligence (Technical) to lead the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise BI solutions. This role is primarily technical in nature and requires deep expertise in C#, BI technologies, server management, data integration, and reporting platforms.

The ideal candidate will have technical BI professional with 8+ years of experience, deep expertise in C#, SQL Server, BI platforms, and server management, who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building scalable data solutions, and leading technical initiatives through hands-on contribution.

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence Development

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale BI applications and reporting solutions.
• Build and enhance data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Develop scalable and high-performance BI solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Create and optimize dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, accuracy, and governance across BI platforms.

C# Development (Must Have)

• Design, develop, and maintain applications, APIs, and automation solutions using C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and object-oriented code.
• Build data processing services, automation tools, and integration solutions using C#.
• Develop custom components to support BI and analytics requirements.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Implement best practices for coding standards, security, error handling, and logging.

Server Management & Infrastructure

• Manage and maintain BI servers and application environments.

• Troubleshoot server-related issues and ensure maximum uptime.
• Coordinate deployments, upgrades, patch management, and environment maintenance.
• Work with Windows Server environments and enterprise infrastructure teams.
• Ensure proper backup, disaster recovery, and security practices are followed.

Database & BI Platform Support

• Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance.
• Support data warehouse and reporting environments.
• Implement BI best practices for performance and scalability.
• Manage report scheduling, subscriptions, and data refresh processes.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.

Technical Leadership

• Drive technical solution design and architecture discussions.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and BI engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical BI initiatives.
• Participate in technical assessments, solution reviews, and project planning.

Good to Have

• Working knowledge of Python for automation, scripting, data processing, or analytics.
• Exposure to data science or machine learning workflows.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, or version control systems.
