Job summary

Elance Learning Provider is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with 4-6 years of experience to turn data into actionable insights across Sales, Marketing, Academics, Operations, Product and Strategy.

You will design and automate dashboards using Power BI, Tableau or Data Studio, perform cohort and funnel analyses, and partner with leadership on planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience as a BI/Data/Business Analyst.
• Strong SQL skills and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
• Knowledge of Python (Pandas/NumPy) or R (preferred).
• Experience analyzing CAC, ROAS, Retention, DAU/MAU, NPS, funnels.
• Excellent communication and data storytelling abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with IT/Product to refine data pipelines.

Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Experience: 4-6 Years

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and insights-driven Business Intelligence Analyst to support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for building dashboards, performing cohort and funnel analysis, identifying business performance patterns, and providing data-backed recommendations to leadership. Your insights will directly shape decisions in Sales, Marketing, Academics, Operations, Product, and Strategy

Key Responsibilities

Business Reporting & Dashboards

• Design, automate, and maintain dashboards (Power BI / Tableau / Data Studio) for executive and departmental reporting.
• Develop KPI scorecards for Sales, Marketing, Learner Success, Financials, and Center P&L.

Data Analysis & Insights

• Conduct funnel analysis across acquisition conversion retention completion.
• Perform cohort analysis to understand student engagement, academic outcomes, and learning behavior patterns.
• Generate insights on CAC, ARPU, LTV, ROAS, and program profitability.

Decision Support

• Present insights with clear storytelling for strategic meetings (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly reviews).
• Run A/B tests for campaigns, pricing models, academic interventions, and platform feature rollouts.
• Work closely with leadership for annual/quarterly planning and forecasting.

Data Management

• Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across LMS, CRM, Marketing, and Finance systems.
• Collaborate with IT/Product to refine data pipelines, tagging layers, and event tracking structures.
• Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred).
• 4-6 years experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst / Data Analyst / Business Analyst.
• Strong expertise in SQL and Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
• Hands-on experience in Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio
• Understanding of Python (Pandas / NumPy) or R for deeper analytics (preferred).
• Experience in analyzing business metrics such as CAC, ROAS, Retention, DAU/MAU, NPS, Funnel Conversion, Cohorts.
• Strong communication and data storytelling ability.
