Job summary

TaskUs is seeking a data analyst to transform complex datasets into actionable insights. You will collaborate with business partners, translate requirements into reports, and develop repeatable dashboards using SQL, Python, and BI tools.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience in data analysis, experience with large data sets, and a strong eye for storytelling. This hybrid role is based in Navi Mumbai, offering competitive salaries and room for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data analysis and data prep experience using SQL, Python, R or similar
• Hands-on experience building reports with Power BI, Tableau, QlikView or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS, Math, Statistics, or IT (or equivalent)

Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Translate data into human insights and stories which drive change in strategy and tactics.
• Analyze complex data sets to develop actionable insights that can drive impactful business decisions
• Leverage storytelling skills to deliver insights that are clear, concise and actionable
• Work with business partners to interpret analysis results with a focus on actionable next steps
• Develop ad hoc reports that will lead to insights and analysis needed for the business
• Work with the data visualization team in developing informative repeatable reporting, data monitoring, hygiene (e.g. validation) and other strategies that help uncover gaps, highlight relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
• Translate requirements into technical specifications for data and reporting teams and, conversely, technical approaches into easily digestible insights.
• Summarize data from multiple sources, developing assumptions where needed, to communicate insights and opportunities.

Working Mode : Hybrid

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years' demonstrated ability with data analysis and preparation including use of statistical methods and experience with very large data sets using SQL, Python, R or other programming language
• At least one year hands-on experience building reports using Power BI, Tableau, QlikView or other similar tools

• Demonstrates the ability to respond quickly to changes in day to day operations as it relates to department priorities.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required. If in Bachelor's degree, would prefer a graduate in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, programming background or Information Technology
