Job summary

Scimplify, a science-first manufacturing company for Advanced Materials, seeks a Business Head for Textile Specialty Chemicals to drive strategy, P&L, and portfolio across India and export markets. You will own revenue targets, margins, and growth initiatives, leading a cross-functional team with R&D, sourcing, and sales to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in textile chemicals, strong network with mills and brand sourcing teams, and experience in sustainability standards

Responsibilities

• Build and run the P&L for the Textile Specialty Chemicals BU. Set revenue, margin and volume targets, and make it a leading business in the segment.
• Define the textile specialty chemicals portfolio across pretreatment, dyeing auxiliaries, printing and finishing chemicals. Work with R&D and sourcing to add new molecules and formulations.
• Win and grow key accounts among textile mills, processing houses and garment exporters in major hubs (Tiruppur, Surat, Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, Bhiwandi, Erode).
• Grow textile specialty chemicals exports to Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, Turkey and Sri Lanka using international network.
• Ensure the portfolio meets brand and sustainability standards (ZDHC, bluesign, OEKO-TEX) to win business with brand-nominated suppliers.
• Build and lead the sales and technical service team. Set up application support to sell solutions, not just chemicals.
• Track pricing, competitors and raw material trends to protect margins.

Role summary

You will own Scimplify’s Textile Specialty Chemicals business end to end: strategy, P&L, portfolio and growth across India and export markets.

• Grow textile specialty chemicals exports to Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, Turkey and Sri Lanka, using Scimplify’s international network.
• Make sure the portfolio meets brand and sustainability standards (ZDHC, bluesign, OEKO-TEX), and use those standards to win business with brand-nominated suppliers.

Requirements

• 8+ years in textile specialty chemicals or auxiliaries, with at least 5 years in a business head, BU head or P&L role.
• Background with a textile specialty chemicals player such as Archroma, Huntsman Textile Effects, Rudolf, CHT, Sarex, Fineotex or Pulcra.
• Strong network among mills, processors and brand sourcing teams, and a track record of growing revenue at scale.
• Working knowledge of wet processing and application, plus sustainability and compliance frameworks.
• B.Tech or M.Tech in Textile Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred. An MBA is a plus.
