Job summary

Position Overview: Managing sales & commercial aspects of Thermal Analysis (TA) Product Range for HAN related business for India Territory. Designing and contributing to growth of TA products business strategies for India region.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage HAN TA products Business sales for India Territory including commercial aspects related to product sales and marketing.
• Responsible for ensuring the Sales pipeline for TA products line and it is maintained with a balance of short-, mid- and long-term prospects sufficient for the continuous attainment of your quarterly , half yearly and yearly targets.
• Managing sales business through distributor and channel partners and manage Sales leads, Opportunities, quotes to customer through sales force like CRM tools.
• Work closely with HAN global team & Hitachi High Tech India (HTIN) local teams for developing and strategies for growth of TA Analytical Instruments Sales across India region.
• Design and implement marketing strategy and support marketing activities for India regions for Thermal Analysis Product Sales.
• Achieve strategic distributors / agent / channel partners development objectives.
• Manage the demo lap instruments of Thermal Analysis products and should be able to use them to conduct successful customer demonstrations and sample analysis at times
• Uphold HAN Brand integrity within distributors / agents / Customers and operate in a manner consistent with the HAN brand values.
• Plan and execute agreed Sales targets for Thermal Analysis products including sales by product, market segment, product mix, take responsibility for cash collection and maintaining gross margins or as per the business plan given to achieve.
• Provide regular reports in an agreed format after seeking respective reports from direct reports/distributors & agents etc.

Skills:

• Application Knowledge: Should possess sound application knowledge of TA products across different industry segments. (Pharma/ Polymer/Rubber /Academia research etc.)
• Customer Knowledge: Familiarity with the customer base and key accounts relevant to TA product sales.
• Product Presentation Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills for technical product demonstrations and presentations.
• Competition Knowledge: Good understanding of competitor products and market positioning and other commercial aspects.
• Product Handling Experience: Hands-on experience in handling and demonstrating TA products.
• Strategy management & business development experience Understands the key factors which influence the performance of own area of the business. Evaluates activities and decisions from a commercial perspective, achieving short-term financial efficiency and longer-term business objective. Adept at exploiting distributor strength in developing HAN brand image and awareness. Working closely with cross functional teams within the organization.
• Business Development Skills: Capability to identify new business opportunities and expand market reach. Excellent communication, networking and influencing skills.
• PC & other IT skills and good working knowledge of content management systems & use of AI in running the business.
• Proactive and works with pace and energy Creative and innovative approach to developing new ideas or solutions The ability to work independently with effective time management skills Customer focused and can work on own initiative.
• Fluency in English language and proficiency in other local languages would be added advantage.
• "Can do" attitude – Decisive, able to work around issues to deliver performance.
• Supervisory skills in developing and executing sophisticated sales strategies, tactics, plans and programs.
• Occasional international travel will be required as part of this role.

Experience: Minimum 7- 10 years plus of field Sales & marketing experience in selling Thermal Analysis products in India. Experience in handling direct and distributor sales channels is must. Minimum 3-5 years of managing distribution and channel sales & marketing of analytical instruments.

Education: MSc or PhD in Analytical Chemistry from a reputed university.
