Role & responsibilities -
Market Expansion & Lead Generation
- Identify & Network: Build a robust pipeline of channel partners, including architects, interior designers, builders, brokers, hospitality chains, and government bodies.
- Prospecting: Actively generate high-quality B2B and premium B2C leads through targeted field visits, industry networking, and market research.
- Lead Qualification: Analyze and qualify incoming leads to ensure alignment with Fabindias brand ethos, design aesthetic, and service capabilities.
2. Client Acquisition & Pitching
- Consultative Selling: Conduct client meetings to deeply understand their space, design requirements, and budget constraints.
- Solution Pitching: Present and pitch Fabindia Turnkey IDS solutions effectively, showcasing value-added services (e.g., modular setups, wallpapers, customized furniture, and mattresses).
- Deal Closure: Coordinate with internal legal, design, and commercial teams to draft, finalize, and sign off on client agreements.
3. Financial & Relationship Management
- Account Management: Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and organic referrals.
- Commercial Closure: Ensure the timely collection of initial advances and milestone payments from the customer as per the agreed terms.
4. Operations & Reporting
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaison closely with the design, project execution, and store operations teams to ensure seamless project handovers.
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain a meticulously updated client database. Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports tracking lead conversion rates, pipeline health, and revenue achievements against targets.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Revenue generated against Quarterly commercial targets.
- Number of active, high-value channel partners (architects, builders, etc.) onboarded.
- Lead-to-conversion ratio and pipeline velocity.
- Timely collection of project advances and milestone payments.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
1. Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Experience: 4–6 years of proven sales and business development experience specifically within the Home & Lifestyle, Furniture Design, or Turnkey Interior Services industries.
2. Technical & Domain Knowledge
- Industry Acumen: A solid basic understanding of interior design concepts, floor plans, materials, and premium home/furniture product categories.
- Tech Savviness: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and modern CRM tools for pipeline management.
- Lead Generation: Proven track record of generating premium leads from both in-store walk-ins and proactive external corporate channels.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently pitch to premium clients, architects, and corporate stakeholders.
