Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Data to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The ideal candidate brings deep Lending domain knowledge and hands-on experience with Core Banking data, data structures, and Data Warehouse integration.

You will lead business-user engagements, define scope, guide a BA team, coordinate workshops, ensure requirements traceability, and support testing and UAT.

Role Title

Summary of Role:

In that role, they will:

• Bring a good understanding of the Lending domain having worked in a similar capacity earlier
• Shall have a good understanding of data structure, balance types, etc for a Core Banking System and its integration with the Data Warehouse
• Shall be able to guide, handhold, and groom the team of Business Analyst throughout the project
• Interact with business users and technical team for the understanding of data requirements
• Document data requirements in the core banking landscape with its impact on other downstream applications and process flows using different tools like JIRA, Confluence, Blue Works, Lucid Chart, MS Visio, etc
• Analyse and design solutions with the support of Solution Architects
• Provide feedback on test cases and support to Quality Assurance for testing
• Support in client UAT

Job Description

Responsibilities of the role:

• Lead the engagement with business users to define the scope, and understand business processes, problem statements, and pain areas
• Identify key stakeholders and construct stakeholder analysis i.e. how they are affected
• Identify the data-related requirements and their integration with the warehouse
• Shall be able to identify and understand the data required for surround systems and reporting
• Support the identification of risks and mitigation approaches
• Lead the client requirement workshops and identify gaps together with high-level proposals for their resolution (e.g. development workarounds or change in processes). Ensure any solutions proposed are realistic and within the agreed scope of the project.
• Guide the business analysts in Solution design with the Design and Development team to ensure requirements are duly addressed. Ensure Requirement Traceability Matrix is updated to facilitate tracking of requirements coverage.
• Make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness, reduce cost and provide a better customer experience
• Conduct relevant research to increase understanding in support of developing comprehensive solutions
• Participate in final User Acceptance Testing for all major developments in the domain
• Assist in the production of various collaterals such as User Guide, SOP Documents, process flows, etc

Experience and skills required

Hands-on experience in implementing Transact system is a must

The candidate shall have an in-depth understanding of Data Structure, and the different balance components for Transact

Detailed understanding of different interfacing techniques within Transact is a must

Should have a good understanding of the gamut of commercial and SME lending products like Commercial Loans, Syndication, Mezz Finance

Design thinking, ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations, communicate in a clear non-ambiguous manner, conduct requirements workshops, drive decision making

Experience in documenting a business case, business process modelling, requirement elicitation through workshops

Manage projects from inception through design to delivery

Experience of working on Agile methodology of implementation is mandatory

Communication, group dynamics, collaboration, and continuous improvement are core – being best practice driven

Pro-active, quick learner, ability to effectively work in multi-cultural and multi-national teams

Positive attitude and ability to engage with different stakeholders managing scope and expectations skilfully
